Samuel Smith's - Oatmeal Stout

Almost opaque, with an unusually silky texture and complex, medium-dry velvet palate. Bittersweet finish.

Given the thick, dark, almost opaque-black color this pours, you can tell it s going to be an intense and flavorful experience. Scents of milk chocolate, coffee with cream, brown bread and oatmeal with molasses drizzle waft from the glass and carry through to the full, creamy palate. The carbonation helps to keep things fresh and clean on the palate, while lingering chocolate, roasted-malt and sweet smoke flavors are decadent and immensely satisfying.
